The Hamburg Logistics specialist for liquid transport is expanding its services to include the transport of fresh fruit. Now fruit, intended for further processing, is transported in insulated tankers all over Europe. Liquid CONcept will offer the fruit transports throughout Europe all year and every day. If there is enough demand, the delivery network will be expanded.
"With this new offer, we are expanding our portfolio with the tanker-transports of fresh fruit," explains Christian-Eycke Dörre, Liquid CONcept manager.
The new offer is aimed at all producers and recipients of fresh fruits that is intended for further processing. With a high demand for fruit transport by tanker Liquid CONcept expects interest particularly of fruit processing food industry, such as the producers of jams and juices. With its new logistics solution Liquid CONcept ensures reliable and fast transport of fresh fruit and punctual delivery.
40 tankers with a capacity of up to 35,000 litres are used on the roads in Europe. And to protect the perishable cargo against the effects of fluctuating temperatures the insulated tanks are temperature controlled. Especially suitable for transport by tanker are fruits such as cherries, strawberries, apricots, raspberries and currants and gooseberries.
