Product recall: Too much sulphur dioxide in asparagus

"Le Baron asparagus tips "unfit for human consumption"

IMGRO GmbH, a food and beverage wholesaler recalls the 180g jars of white asparagus tips from the brand "Le Baron" with the expiration date 12.31.17. Customers were asked not to consume the product, produced in China, because the sulphur dioxide content is too high.

The company press release states: "The product is not suitable for consumption and can be returned to all stores. The customers will get a refund even without proof of purchase."
