BayPack is growing!

The BayPack success story continues!

The packaging specialist from Unterallgäu continues its success story. Founded in December 2006, they started with 7 employees in rented premises in Türkheim, in 2011 they moved into their own production building and offices at the Bahnhofstrasse 30 in Stetten directly on the A96 and now a start is made with a further extension of 2600 m².

"We invest eight million in our manufacturing and create more jobs," says CEO Ralph Dengler. The expansion of the building creates space for an ultra-modern printing press, a highly automated gluing machine and a fully automated multilevel storage facility for semi-finished and finished products, with a fully automated shipping lane. Six million Euro alone will be invested in machinery. The new printing machine comes from the market leader for offset printing. This machine can handle heavier cardboard in six different formats and enables us to implement special print finishes in the situation.

"This high-tech machine has a continuous colour measuring system, which our customers almost always require," said Manfred Mayr, manager at BayPack. Frank Krier, Marketing and Sales Director: "We are expanding our position in the market for trade and transport, ready packaging and shelf ready packaging with these investments, and we remain competitive with high product quality. This way we can keep up with the growth and the increasing demands of our customers. We grow with our customers and at the same time we explore new markets, such as the packaging market for fruit and vegetables. For the past 2 years we have been very active on this market. We have presented ourselves at Fruit Logistica, the world's largest fruit and vegetable fair, in Berlin in 2014. We consider this market as an absolute growth market. These developments are extremely important for our regular customers such as Rügenwalder Mills, Hochland or Edelweiss because this is the only way we can maintain our high standards in quality and development."

Ralph Dengler describes the prospects for the future: "With these investments, BayPack looks ready for the future at the current site in Unterallgäu. We plan very strategically for the future. Therefore, we already secured the adjoining land to the east of our existing building. On that area of more than 20,000 m² we can continue grow."
