Macfrut launches “Fruit & Veg Fantasy show”

Bloggers, sports people, communicators, chefs and prize contests. Everyone will get together to send a clear message: eating fruit and vegetables is good for our health. Macfrut has chosen Rimini Wellness for its debut in the Rimini area (28-31 May 2015), not so much as a means of representation but as an active promoter of a healthier lifestyle and healthy eating.

This is how the Fruit & Veg Fantasy Show was created, an innovative space designed by Macfrut to promote the consumption of top-quality fruit and vegetable produce and to offer information on their nutritional properties. At this event, participants will be able to taste the products of seven major companies in the market (Consorzio Kiwi Gold, Cuoredolce, DimmidiSì–La Linea Verde, Dole, Nucis, OrtoRomi Insal'Arte, and Solarelli) which, for this occasion, have developed products specifically for sports people.

During this 4-day event, a contest will be held to vote for your “Wellness Recipe”, and participants will be able to taste and choose from five different offers developed by the well-known blogger of InsalataMente. Also known as "Alice nel Paese delle Insalate" (Miss Vinaigrette), Jeanne Perego is the first "salad specialist" in Italy and has written several books on this subject. On Saturday 30 May, the event will be broadcast live by the blogger from Rimini on InsalataMente, ahead of the debut of a video channel about the world of salad.

Moreover, every day at 4.30pm, there will be a draw for contest participants with the chance to win great prizes consisting of wholesome fruit and vegetable products offered by Macfrut.

In addition, in this attractive environment, a talk show will be hosted every day by the agronomist and communicator Daniele De Leo focused on the health-related aspects of fruit and vegetable produce, with demonstrations of recipes, stories, live show cooking and much more. The Fruit&Veg Fantasy Show will feature many guests, including the basketball champion Carlton Myers on Friday 29 May at 2.30pm.
