Consumers’ association criticize quality of packaged asparagus

The Consumers’ Association Bavaria criticized the quality of packaged asparagus. The Consumers’ Association Bavaria announced last week that in a test, 14 of the 25 purchased products did not meet the quality criteria of the specified class. Sometimes the asparagus ends dried out or the tips were green. These are a signs of long-term storage. Six of the samples even contained rotten asparagus spears or asparagus with mould.
