New Managing Director TI Food and Nutrition

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Marian Geluk as the new Managing Director TI Food & Nutrition with effect from 1 August 2015. She succeeds Dr Jan Maat who will hand over his responsibilities after more than 6 years of service.

TI Food & Nutrition is a public/private partnership for long-term strategic research to enhance innovation in the food industry in providing safe, healthy and tasty foods.

Currently, Mrs. Marian Geluk (Dutch nationality) is Executive Director of Wageningen UR Chile, the International Centre of Excellence in Foods, in Chile. She joined Wageningen UR – Food and Biobased Research in 2008 after being active in Unilever Research and NIZO Food Research, holding various product development, business development and management roles.

Next to her TIFN activities in due time Marian will take up additional responsibilities for the TKI Agri&Food in the domain of Public Private Partnerships for fundamental strategic research and internationalisation.
