CID Bio-Science wins $10,000 grant

CID Bio-Science has been awarded a $10,000 grant by Comcast as a regional winner in the first round of its Innovations 4 Entrepreneurs contest.

One of 32 finalists, CID Bio-Science now has the opportunity to win another $20,000 by receiving the highest number of votes before May 10, 2015.

CID Bio-Science has grown and its product line has expanded since 2008 when current president Leonard Felix first obtained the company. "We are ready for a new, improved communication system for our engineering and production teams," says Felix. "Our vision is a system of tablet computers with electronic assembly instructions for each product."

Mr. Felix will allot money obtained through the Comcast Innovations 4 Entrepreneurs contest toward investing in a new communication infrastructure for its engineering and manufacturing departments.

Supporters can vote once daily until May 10, 2015.
