Veiling Haspengouw seeks partnerships

Veiling Haspengouw has had discussions with several companies within the sector about potential partnerships. 2014 and 2015 have been transitional years for Veiling Haspengouw, with the Russian boycott at the top. Last year Veiling Haspengouw came with the STAM2020 plan, in which it was decided to change tactics. The Veiling appointed a new CEO (Chief Executive Officer), CFO (chief financial officer) and a new CCO (Commercial director). Veiling Haspengouw is currently working on a new future that CEO Filip Vanaken no longer fits in. Therefore a change took place at the top last week: Marijke Vanderstukken, the former finance director, will take Filip Vanaken's position as CEO. The board of directors sincerely thanks Filip Vanaken for his years of loyal dedication to the Veiling, the associates and the staff.

Collaboration
According to an article from 'Het Belang' from Limurg, Veiling Haspengouw is in talks with several parties regarding a possible collaboration. Luc Bels, President of Veiling Haspengouw, has confirmed that discussions are underway, but not yet with whom. "We want the Veiling ready for the future, and we are busy with reorganization and optimization. We are also working on strengthening our bonds and communication with our growers. The board of directors and management are currently looking on possible partnerships. There are already some early conclusions that have been drawn by certain media outlets, but we do not wish to go into these. We are talking to possible partners but nothing is concrete yet. We are keeping things open. At the end of May the new Veiling Haspengouw VH 2.0 Master Plan will be explained to the associates in order to allow them to supply the appropriate, necessary added value in future work."
