To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of four years, significantly outperforming their industry peers. These businesses have a unique capacity to innovate and create new jobs, in turn spearheading the revival of the UK economy.
The report has received cross-party support from leading politicians including Chancellor George Osborne, Business Secretary Vince Cable and Shadow Business Secretary Chuka Umunna.
