Current apple stock South Tirol +10%

The 'Handelskammer Bozen' and Assomela in Trient regularly publish the current stock of apples stored in the region Trentino-South Tirol. The overview for the start of April is now online, reports the 'Südtiroler Bauernbund' on its website.

The figures show that on the 1st of April there was still 603,703 tonnes of apples in storage. On the 1st of April 2014 this amount was still at 536,154 tonnes, and on the 1st of April 2013 at 438,259 tonnes. The stores of Golden Delicious (359,781 tonnes), Red Delicious (47,357 tonnes) and Granny Smith (39,435 tonnes) are the largest at the moment.
