New Zealand Kiku heading to market

2015 season KIKU is being harvested and the first of the new season KIKU is on the water and on its way to outlets in the USA and Asia.

New Zealand has had the perfect summer for KIKU. Warm days have worked their magic to enhance the natural sugar levels with higher than normal brix levels as the result. This has been perfectly balanced by the cooler nights which have allowed
development of a superb and intense colour that is now being seen on this season’s fruit.

Nathan Clark, Operations Manager for Sunfruit Orchards says, “it is the best KIKU we has ever harvested it has a great size with amazing taste and colour.”

This season KIKU could, “quite possibly be the sweetest apple you have ever tasted.”
Fresh NZ KIKU will be in stores within a matter of weeks.
