Ateneo is a vine tomato recommended for plantings that range from the first week of August until the first week of September. Its plant has short internodes and a great ability to curdle both in heat and cold, which is very important, because the first branches do not crack. Regarding its fruits, Jose noted that, "in long cycle plantations, Ateneo presents more than 60% of gauge G and in the fall, high M, which gives it an added value. In addition, its good consistency, excellent post-harvest and better taste make it a tomato that will be highly valued by the industry very soon."
