Less waste thanks to optimized packaging

In collaboration with 'Altstoff Recycling Austria AG' (ARA) 'denkstatt Gmbh' has recently examined how well optimized packaging can reduce the ecological footprint of food. This information comes from aiz.info, Germany's agricultural information center website.

The result: through the proper application of packaging, the minimum shelf life of products can be lengthened and the food is protected during transport and sale, which ultimately reduces waste. Optimized packaging appears to have a positive impact, despite the fact that it causes more plastic waste.
