Village Farms showcases new varieties at CPMA

Village Farms International, with corporate offices located in Delta, British Columbia will participate in the Canadian Produce Marketing Association convention and tradeshow in Montreal at the Palais des Congres de Montreal , April 15 through 17, 2015.

The company’s new corporate chef Darren Brown will have some surprises in store for booth visitors during the show that will highlight Village Farms’ Olde World Flavor collection.

Village Farms will showcase its exclusive new varieties debuting for the first time in Canada during this trade event. Chef Darren Brown offered, “ The uniqueness of Village Farms’ new varietals is only surpassed by their outstanding flavor profiles and versatility in cooking”.

Chef goes on to say the new Cherry no. 9™ fall in love again is a great little tomato sold on the vine with a crisp sweet flavor unlike most other cherry tomatoes. And the Cabernet Estate Reserve™ tomato with its beautiful burgundy wine color has a flavor profile reminiscent of a fine wine.
