Bulgarian tomatoes delayed

The bad weather in Bulgaria recently has caused millions worth of damage in the horticultural sector. Due to the frost, producers planted the tomatoes later and the first amounts of Bulgarian vegetables aren't expected on the market until the beginning of April.

As soon as the Bulgarian tomatoes come onto the market, vegetable growers will have to raise the prices by 10 to 15 percent. This way the losses could still be compensated for.
