Terrapoint becomes Brespotato

After the Tanghe family, known for RTL Patat bvba from Lauwe, took over the inventory and later also all activities from Terrapoint bv from Breskens, a lot has happened. Initially, the large-scale storage and sorting, washing and packaging of potatoes for the large export flows in particular continued as usual. At the same time, careful research was done into how activities could be expanded to provide the potato and onion processing company in Breskens with a more stable basis.

"The new name, Brespotato, is not just the new name of the company, but also the new brand we will carry for potatoes that don't come under the bulk. Of course this is in addition to the extensive product flow for the bigger export destinations. What is more, the supply to nearly all industrial potato processing destinations, so important for RTL Patat for years now, is also rapidly expanding from Breskens."

Together with the small packagings, the specialties and the very broad sales opportunities for industrial processing of potatoes at home and abroad, makes Brespotato a mature player in the versatile and always exciting potato market.
