The crops owned by Mazzoni cover 550 hectares and produce early, medium and late varieties from May 20th to September 30th.
"Peaches (Sagittaria, Crimson Lady, Summer Rich, O'Henry, etc.) and nectarines (Big Bang, Big Top, Francesca, etc.) from Calabria have a fresh, intense and sweet flavour thanks to the special soil and weather characteristics of the region. The summer season also includes strawberries, seedless watermelons, melons and apricots, all sold under the Dolcè® brand."
Mazzoni works along the entire chain - production, collection, storing and packaging. Everything is carried out in BRC and IFC facilities equipped with hydro-coolers and cold-storage units to maintain the organoleptic qualities of the produce unaltered not only during storing but also during long-distance transports.
