Extra early Breton potatoes

Prince de Bretagne introduce Primalines as extra early vegetables. "They mark the start of the spring but, above all, they are today known and appreciated for their taste and unbeatable melt-in-the-mouth texture," explains Pierre Gélébart from Prince de Bretagne.

They are grown under cover right at the start of the season. "The producers grade and pack them by hand in 5kg cardboard boxes, offering two sizes: grenaille (small) and mixed (+28mm). The growing conditions and expertise of the producers mean the Primaline is a potato which is practically clean and attractive on-shelf." It only needs a quick rinse before cooking.

"April is the perfect month for promoting Primalines because the Easter festivities and school holidays are conducive to family meals."
