The Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification (AENOR) and the Authority for Standardization and Metrology of the United Arab Emirates (ESMA) signed an agreement that will lead to the mutual recognition of product certificates and quality brands that will facilitate the entry of Spanish products into the UAE.
The agreement will benefit more than 40,000 building products, electrical equipment, and fruits and vegetables certified under AENOR’s Marca N. In 2014, 7,650 Spanish companies exported 1,650 million euro to the UAE.
