New chairman for Dutoit
Jan-Linde du Toit, who served as Chairman for 25 years, has devoted his entire career to the family business and will continue to serve as director of the Dutoit Group.
George Steyn is the first non-family member and independent Chairman of the Dutoit Group. This milestone underscores the Dutoit Group's pursuit of sustainable growth with the required corporate responsibility associated with successful commercial enterprises.
George Steyn retired in 2011 as Managing Director of PEP after more than 25 years of service. Together with his current exposure as Chairman of Kaap Agri, director at Pepkor and RCL Foods, as well as Chairman of the Council of Stellenbosch University, George is in the ideal position to help the Dutoit Group to achieve the set growth targets.
