Heirloom Artichokes, often referred to as the red label variety, are preferred by chefs. To identify Ocean Mist Farms’ Heirloom Artichokes from other varieties, Ocean Mist Farms labels each with a red PLU/UPC sticker. “That way, shoppers can easily find them in the store”, said McClean.
