“Vegiterraneo” promote Greek vegetables in Poland
"Vegiterraneo” is a European project promoting and increasing the marketing value of Greek fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers in Polish, Greek and Bulgarian market. It was established by Greek Ministry of Rural Development & Food as a result of the many Greek companies that are active in the fresh produce sector. The main purpose of this project has to do mainly with the wide recognition and presentation of Greek fresh vegetables in these targeted countries. The participating companies come from a province of Greece which represent the vast majority of production from the mentioned products.
More importantly the project for Poland enlist a series of promotional actions that has to do with creation of logos, website, internet advertising, printed materials, participation in 3 exhibitions in Poland, promotional activities, public relations including business missions from Greece to the targeted countries as well vice versa, visits to production units as well advertising activities.
This year, from 14 – 16 of April, “ Vegiterraneo” will be participating in WORLD FOOD WARSAW in HALL 4 , Stand - 68. One of the projects’ main priorities of the participation in the exhibition is to better inform, introduce and increase daily consumption of fresh vegetables while also develop and increase their qualitive value. To the same extent, the high priority of “ Vegiterraneo” is that Greek vegetables can obtain a high market share and can create a competitive advantage in the most populated area across Europe.
All the companies represented in “ Vegiterraneo” are specialized to some extent in the export of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers. The participating companies of this European project are the following:
