Albert Heijn introduces fresh veg sticks with dip

Albert Heijn is expanding its product range with vegetable sticks. The retailer is stocking its shelves with sticks of kohlrabi, carrot, yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper and cucumber. According to Albert Heijn, the raw vegetable sticks combine perfectly with dips like hummus, mascarpone or Baba Ganoush made from eggplant.

"The dippers & dips are a healthy alternative for the snack or bite you often feel like eating for lunch or at the end of the day. Fresh and crunchy cucumber, kohlrabi, red or yellow bell pepper and carrot have been cut for you into ready to eat dippers," the retailer writes on its website. The dippers & dips vary between € 1.25 and € 1.75.

Earlier this year, Albert Heijn introduced snack buckets with pre-cut fruit and veg. The price for 70 grammes cut cucumbers amounts to 0.79 cents, for 100 grammes tomatoes it's 1.10.
