On Wednesday, Impala fruit had a run-in with someone pretending to be a Czech firm. This person randomly got in touch through Skype, pretending to be the Tekoo firm in the Czech Republic. He had registered tekoo.eu, but the original website can be visited at tekoo.cz.
Fortunately, all information of a registrant can be viewed publicly, including a correspondence e-mail address. The registrant uses the following correspondence e-mail address: tutti-frutti@gmx.us.
Impala Fruit has looked up which other names he has registered, and the following turned up: www.benvdwaal.com By visiting this website, you're linked to Ben vd Waal's existing website. So he's planning to purchase on behalf of this firm, and will correspond using an e-mail address that ends in @benvdwaal.com. This way, Ben vd Waal could suddenly be confronted with invoices for products they DIDN'T buy.
