Switzerland becoming too small for Migros' production companies

The production companies that belong to the Swiss retailer Migros are exporting more and more. Exporting abroad will be even more important in the future, especially to the Middle East and Asia, reports the Swiss 'Handelszeitung' on their website.

In total, international trade from Migros' production companies has grown by 22%, to 626 million Swiss francs (558 million Euro). This total also includes the sale of products that were produced abroad. International trade makes up 10.4% of the total revenue (+1.5%). However, the majority of the production companies still sell to Migros themselves, and to other companies that Migros belongs to.
