New flavours for bananas

"In just three simple steps, the Destapabanana transforms a banana into a dessert accompanied by any flavour available in the market. Using this device, the consumer can fill fruit with cream, jams, and basically anything with the right consistence," explains the Argentinian Sebastián Berger, inventor of Destapabanana.

According to Sebastián, the ideal way to market the product is to demonstrate its use at retail outlets. "People have shown a great interest; it is really fun to be able to choose any filling for the fruit, and it is also very easy to use," says Sebastian Berger.

Sebastián stresses that it is a surprising experience to bite the fruit and find the filling, as the banana remains unpeeled and no one would notice it in advance.

"The possibilities are endless; you can even extract pieces from other fruits and insert them into the banana; a delicious and healthy choice," concludes Sebastián.
