Salanova hydroponic introduced to Indonesian retail

Indonesian retail company Ranch Market has introduced a new Salanova retail concept, with fresh hydroponic lettuce grown by Rijk Zwaan partner Amazing Farm. During a new store opening south of Jakarta, customers could directly-harvest their own Salanova from a real hydroponic growing system.

The new Salanova concept perfectly fits the customer group of Ranch Market, that focuses on unique and premium quality products. Especially health and safety are very important for these consumers, which makes the hydroponically grown vegetables very popular. After all, in this cultivation system the crop is less susceptible for diseases, and consumers can see with their own eyes how the product has been grown. With great excitement, visitors picked their favourite Salanova lettuces and put them into their shopping basket.
