Fruit World Breda starts selling Chilean hardy kiwis again this week. Fruit World has been active in Chilean hardy kiwis for about a decade, but the volumes have really expanded in the last four years. "The market for this product is getting bigger and bigger. Hardy kiwis are becoming more well-known, and we're getting increasing demand from European retail and hospitality/food services. In addition to the Netherlands, the market in England, Germany and Austria is increasing," says Jan van Tilborg of Fruit World.
The hardy kiwis are packaged per 125 grammes under the Top Grade brand. The quality is excellent this year. Hardy kiwis from Chile will be available for about 7 weeks from Fruit World. The hardy kiwi is a grape-sized kiwifruit. It can be eaten with the skin, making the hardy kiwi a perfect healthy and convenient snack.
