New organic seal for products from Bavaria

Organic products from the German state of Bavaria will soon be recognizable by a special seal. The EU has already approved the regional logo, Helmut Brunner, minister of Agriculture of the state of Bavaria, reported at the Biofach in Nuremberg.

Brunner wants to introduce the official submission procedure for the Bavarian organic seal in the next few days. In late summer, the first products with the organic seal will be in stores. A marketing offensive will then cause the organic seal to gain notoriety on the market fast.
