Photo report on trends and novelties at Fruit Logistica

Pomegranate, arils, juice, jam, vinegar. The pomegranate was obviously present at the Fruit Logistica. The superfood is gaining popularity. Though kale is a popular product in North America, in Berlin it was the big absent.

Vegetable and fruit crisps were present: banana, apple, onions, sweet potatoes, you can make crisps out of almost every fruit or vegetable.

Also there were fresh vegetable packaging for soup, salsa or guacamole. Bananas seem to be offered more often by piece.
