Edeka has most popular fruit and veg departments in Germany

The most popular fruit and vegetable departments in Germany can be found in Edeka supermarkets, reports the German website pressrelations.de. This outcome comes from the representative 'Consumer Panel' from the 'Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung' (GfK) (Association for Consumer Research). During the fall of 2014 9,000 households in Germany were surveyed. Edeka received the 'Retail Award 2015' from Fruchthandel Magazin (Fruit Trade Magazine). The award was presented to them last week during the Fruit Logistica trade fair in Berlin.

"The satisfaction of our customers remains the most important measure for our independent retailers," said Markus Mosa from Edeka AG. "This positive consumer opinion and the Retail Award 2015 gives us additional motivation to further strengthen our positive image."
