"XVII International Award "Grappolo d'Argento" goes to Teresa Diomede's Racemus"
The ceremony will take place on February 5th at 11:30 a.m., within the Apulia Region stand (Hall 4.2, Stand A-11).
Grappolo d'Argento award.
The award commission was nominated by the Agricultural Department of the Municipality of Rutigliano and was formed by representatives of the municipality (Mayor, Councillor for Agriculture, council delegates), "Sagra dell'Uva di Rutigliano" civic committee, producers and traders (Coldiretti, Copagri, Confagricoltura, Apeo, etc.), Regional Agricultural Technician and Researcher Association, Bari Chamber of Commerce and regional office for the "Prodotti di qualità Puglia" mark.
After examining various proposals, the 2015 commission awarded the prize to Racemus a company owned by Teresa Diomede (pictured), with the following reason:
"For using innovative tools to communicate with the market and consumers, promoting table grapes as well as the territory. This model produced relationships and cooperations that will increasingly draw attention to the chain. In such an ever changing market, the Municipality of Rutigliano recognizes and rewards this model, identifying it as strategic for the development of the table grape sector."
