Norwegian currency little effect on import

The Norwegian currency started to get cheaper as of October compared to the Euro. In December it even had a major increase.

Øyvind Briså from Bama mentions that so far it has not effected import business too much. “Of course imported goods get more expensive, but we keep on importing on the customer's demand. Last year we even had an increase of 6-7% on our annual sales.” If it lasted longer, Øyvind thinks it might affect demand, and domestic produce may become more competitive. After the sharp increase in December the Krone shows signs of a slight recovery.
