Germany: 2014 - fresh products became cheaper

The fresh index of the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) (Agricultural Market Information Services), which compares the prices of fresh products with a year earlier, was lower for the first time in four years in 2014. This means that the prices of fresh products have fallen. Purchasing fresh food actually became cheaper as the year went on.
