Despite this the situation for the growers remains tense, especially in the north of Germany, reports the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) on its website. The main question remains; when will prices pick up and reach a cost covering level.
When looking at the stored apple varieties there are clear differences to be seen within the assortment. The stocks of the variety Royal Gala are selling especially fast.
