The Tunisian maltese orange season has just begun. The first delivery will be in week 3. Production potential is good this year. The orange harvest should reach 310,000 to 330,000 tons, following a slightly deficient 2013-2014 season which produced less than 300,000 tons due to water deficiency and small calibres. Export potential was estimated at the end of 2014 at almost 19,000 tons. France is the main entry point into Europe.
