Since 1979, Daniel Cadiou has built-up a strong know-how in the Traditional shallot segment, in sourcing, storage, packaging and shipping.
Brittany is the biggest shallot growing area in Europe and being based there Daniel Cadiou can ensure good quality supply originating from the area.
Traditional shallots are grown very differently to others on the market, this leads to a very different flavour. According to the company, seed shallots cannot be compared to the more perfumed and flavoured traditional shallots.
Daniel Cadiou has gradually expanded to a wide range of alliums and now offers traditional shallots, banana shallots, onions (Roscoff, pink, red, yellow, white, sweet) and garlic (white, pink, purple).
