AVI has a robust infrastructure, which is SEDEX Qualified and BRC-Iop certified. All of AVI’s products are produced from Food Certified (EU,REACH compliant) raw materials. The company has its own extrusion facility which helps them maintain the quality and consistency at all times.
AVI has been growing its portfolio of products and currently specializes in packaging for grapes, strawberries, citrus, apples, sliced fruits and vegetables.
For Citrus packing AVI offers PNG251 and TBT 110160. PNG 251 is a clamshell punnet which is a special pack designed for 6 pcs. The pack comes with the option of air vents for ease in airflow.
AVI Global recently participated at an exhibition in India specific to mushrooms. It is a highly competitive space but a very lucrative one. AVI has developed a couple of products which are best suited for mushroom packing. They provide safety and strength to the pack while also helping to achieving better shelf life than the existing options.
Prime punnets are produced using post consumer PET bottle flakes. This means that 80% of raw material comes from post consumer waste/inorganic resources, which reduces the carbon foot print. Further PET is environmentally friendly and helps in easy recycling.

India is new to offering Punnets. "We want the fresh produce industry to know that AVI Global from India has a state of the art manufacturing facility to offer punnets. We have certifications and conform to all international norms for producing a safe and conducive product," explains Mr Bhargava.
