The 2014 Nergi® season comes to an end

This summer’s particularly favourable weather conditions made it possible for Nergi to launch the sales season a fortnight early.



A sustained programme of in-store animations with partner retail networks, backed up by active communication on the NERGI® Facebook page, helped boost sales for more than 7 weeks. Increasing numbers of consumers and fans in France and throughout Europe (Benelux, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK…) enthusiastically joined the ‘Nergivores’ community. Over 600,000 125-g punnets were sold in 2014.

NERGI® is popular among consumers for its taste, its practical aspect (as it does not have to be peeled), and its remarkable nutritional qualities. NERGI® is a convivial fruit, ideal for ‘snacking’ at home or at work. Store department managers also played their part by positioning NERGI® next to raspberries and blueberries on the fruit shelf.

On the strength of this success, the 2015 NERGI® season is already being prepared in the orchards.
