Cool Logistics 2014 - Photo report

'Better communication and more added value'

The 6th edition of the Cool Logistics Conference was again held on the SS Rotterdam, docked near the centre of the city. This year there were less delegates than last year, 220 had registered to attend, but according to Alex von Stemple, Event Director, those present were the 'creme de la creme' of the logistics world.

One of the subjects which kept coming back in the presentations and discussions was the need for better communication between the different players in the cool chain, Andy Connell from Dole told delegates about the success of the 'Dole train' in South Africa and how cooperation between the different companies using it has make the service better.
