Tozer Iberica to showcase new vegetable varieties at Fruit Attraction

Tozer Iberica will be exhibiting at Fruit Attraction 2014 in Madrid from the 15th-17th October 2014. Their stand will be located in Pabellon 9, Stand 9511C. Tozer Seeds are market leaders in the breeding and development of Parsnip, Celery and Rocket. The company will be showcasing a selection of their vegetable varieties including brand new vegetables Flower Sprout and Kales.

The Flower Sprout plant is similar to that of a Brussels sprout but forms open rosettes up the stem to a frilly leaved top. The rosettes are the Flower Sprouts and look like tiny cabbages with flashes of purple edged with green frilly leaves. It crops from Europe from October until March. There are three different varieties: Autumn Star (TZ 0357), Mistletoe (TZ 0479) and Snowdrop (TZ 0101). To find out more information about

Flower Sprout including recipes please visit: www.flower-sprout.com.

Speciality Kales

Tozer Seeds are renowned for leading the way in innovative vegetable varieties and have developed an enviable portfolio of unique products. Kales are currently undergoing a huge resurgence in popularity due to their fantastic nutritional benefits. We predicted this trend some years ago and have developed a brand new range of brightly coloured kales with fantastic leaf textures and excellent eating qualities.

These new varieties require only very light cooking and are well suited to stir-frying, microwaving and steaming. They are very mild and sweet to eat with none of the traditional brassica bitterness associated with the old kale varieties. The new kales work well in shredded mixed leaf packs where the fantastic colours and textures will be sure to catch the customer's eye and the fantastic flavours will guarantee repeat purchases. Speciality kales include Black Magic, Buttonhole kale (TZ 8011), Emerald Ice (TZ 9332) and TZ 0277.

If you would like to find out any more information about the kales or arrange a meeting please email carmen.sanchez@tozerseeds.com
