Andalusia concerned about 2014/15 citrus season

According to current estimates the 2014/15 citrus season in Andalusia may yield 10% less than last year, reports the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) (Agricultural market information service) on their website.

For official estimates it is still too early to tell because weather conditions in the next few weeks will decide harvest volumes, quality, ripeness and the beginning of the harvest. According to Enrique PĂ©rez, president of the association Asociafruit, they expect good quality and a large yield.
