Germany: broccoli supply still tight

There is still a supply of broccoli in Germany, reports the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) (Agricultural Market Information Service). A significant increase in the yield is not yet in sight.

However, the current high prices surge this week as there is more resistance in the food trade sector, due to customers being more reluctant to buy broccoli. In order to maintain the continuity in marketing, suppliers must accept limited price declines in the coming weeks.
