Turkish Sultana grapes from Denizli at Enes

Enes Groenten & Fruit from Venlo has a new harvest of Turkish Sultana grapes in their assortment. Ercument Saka says: "The grapes are just in and are from Denizli. It is well known and the best grape region in Turkey. The quality is excellent, the sugar level is perfect and the grapes have a good colour," he says enthusiastically.

"These Sultana grapes come from supplier Gelisim Ltd, with who we have built up a good collaboration." Saka indicates that they regularly visit the product themselves. "We recently visited this grape region and it all looks good. The weather was favourable during the blooming period and the grapes look good on the trees with their nice yellow colour. If the weather remains good, we expect a perfect year."

Available until December
He looks towards the season with optimism. "There is enough available for the next while. We expect good volumes and can supply the grapes until December. We import straight from the source. There is no in between trading. It could hardly be fresher."
