Hall 3 Stand Q21

Mr Apple to exhibit at Asia Fruit Logistica for the first time

With Asia Fruit Logistica only a few weeks away, the team at Mr Apple New Zealand Ltd. are looking forward to exhibiting at the show for the first time. You can find Mr Apple at stand Q21.

Mr Apple is one of New Zealand’s largest apple exporters, exporting 25% of the New Zealand crop to 60 markets around the world. For Mr Apple, the Asian market is growing in both size and importance within their business.

“Asia Fruit Logistica is a leading trade show and given the volume we are now sending into the Asian market, we felt it was time to have a presence at the show. We see the show as an excellent way to increase our profile in this very important, interesting and diverse market,” states Ben McLeod, Mr Apple’s Retail Sales Manager.

Mr Apple’s size – one in every four apples exported from New Zealand is a Mr Apple apple – means Mr Apple can service the varying needs of the Asian market. From companies looking for unique, high red, high flavour speciality varieties to companies looking for container load volumes of standard varieties, Mr Apple can deliver.

At Mr Apple, the focus is on the apple, resulting in apples that taste great, look great and perform well for customers all season long. Mr Apple notes they look forward to meeting current and future customers at the show, understanding their apple needs and showing them how a Mr Apple apple can help them grow their sales.

On the stand, Mr Apple will be sampling their beautiful DIVA apples, which are winning shopper's hearts and taste buds around the world. DIVA is a distinctly delicious apple and with controlled distribution, it is perfect for customers looking for a high end, speciality apple.

Mr Apple will also be showcasing Queen – a variety unique to New Zealand. Mainly grown near Mr Apple’s headquarters in Hawke’s Bay’, the Queen is positioned to wow retailers, wholesalers and distributors alike with its high colour, sweet crunchy flavour and fantastic storability.

Mr Apple encourages any company interested in learning more about one of New Zealand’s largest apple exporters to stop by their stand Q21, meet the Mr Apple team and sample some of their speciality apples.
