Dole Asia releases new Dole Height Chart app
Parents simply download the app to scan the QR codes found on the stickers and record the height of their children in the app to track it over time. Afterwards, they can also compare the info with average height standards and customize their child’s pictures with cool frames and even cute characters that highlight their height.
In addition, every time a user scans a QR code, he or she will also earn “Dole Coins”. The more Dole Coins one accumulates, the more chances one has of winning exciting prizes from Dole Asia. And rather than making in-app purchases, scanning more Dole Asia products enables users to unlock additional features. The app is connected to Facebook so users can easily sign in and share their photos with their family and friends.
The Dole Height Chart app is currently out in Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, and the Philippines and will soon be rolled out in Singapore and the U.A.E. It is part of a series of apps that Dole Asia will be rolling out to better engage with consumers. "By launching the first of a pipeline of mobile apps, Dole Asia aims to present itself as a brand that continues to innovate and create exciting new reasons to purchase Dole products," said Johann Albano, Dole Asia VP for Asia Business Development. "It goes with the trend of consumers’ increasing usage of mobile and tablet apps."
The Dole Height Chart app is available in Apple iTunes and Google Play stores.
