Click and collect sales in France up 26.9% May-June

According to Nielsen Drive, the turnover of click and collect stores reached €216 million over the P6 period (mid-May to mid-June).

This is an average performance compared to the last six months. Since the start of the year the barometer was never under €200 million. However, it is a 26.9% growth compared to the same period last year (€170.7 million).

Leclerc plans 140 openings in 2014. The symbolic 500 click and collect stores figure was reached at the end of May. Market leader, Leclerc makes up half of France's click and collect points. A new concept is being tested in 20 or so sales poitns, and a new website will be launched. However the number of sales points opening is expected to decrease as of 2015…
