Großmarkt Mannheim: Frey opens new fresh centre
1,300 guests from all over German visited the 'Großmarkt Mannheim' on the 28th of June for the opening of the new fresh centre 'Frische-Center 1.1' belonging to fruit and vegetable wholesaler Frey GmbH, reports the German website Fruchthandel.de.
The construction was built in around a year, has a surface of around 3,000 m2 and the emphasis is on using sustainable energy. The focus was also on a functional and energy efficient way of building. In his welcoming speech to the guests and the Frey family Manfred Spachmann, director of Großmarkt Mannheim GmbH said: "This new building is an important contribution to the development of the Großmarkt Mannheim. We wish the company's management, Ralf, Stefan Frey and all the employees good luck and success, and hope that the new building will benefit the wholesaler's customers." The opening of 'Frische Center 1.1' ends the company expansion of the Frey company, which has existed since 1949 and is now being lead by the third generation, with investments reaching millions.
