AU: Free fruit fly management workshop for Victorian growers

The fruit fly, as the world’s most economically significant horticultural pest, is now part of the Victorian landscape.

Apple and Pear Australia, together with Horticulture Australia Limited are bringing growers the opportunity to improve their on-farm management of fruit fly by adopting proven innovative technical systems.

Key Note Speaker:
Dr Eric Jang is an entomologist from the US Department of Agriculture and an international expert on fruit fly. Eric will bring his hands on research experience in developing commercially rigorous management strategies in Hawaii and will give
attendees the right framework to go forward to confidently manage fruit fly on their properties.
