Dole Asia launches new website

Dole Asia, a subsidiary of Dole Asia Holdings, one of Asia's largest producers and marketers of high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables and a worldwide leader and innovator in the production and marketing of high-quality packaged fruit and healthy snacks, has recently launched a new website (www.doleasiafresh.com).

“Having this platform enables our existing as well as potential customers and consumers to learn more about us and communicate with us making Dole accessible to our target audience at the convenience of their fingertips,” explains Mr. Johann Albano, VP for Dole Asia Business Development.

The site features the company’s wide-range and colourful product portfolio of fresh produce. All available Dole Asia Fresh products will be seen in this online catalogue, which will also be providing instant access to relevant product information such as health benefits, origin, and product specifications.

The site also aims to be an avenue for two-way communication, allowing each office of Dole Asia Fresh to receive instant inquiries directly. “We will also be releasing the latest news and other relevant information about our products and company in the site, making sure that our consumers, customers, and stakeholders are kept up to date,” says Mr. Albano.

In terms of design, the site’s highlighting macro shots of various fruits and vegetables strive to showcase the brand’s health and freshness standards. It also includes a set of videos that draw attention to the “Dole Banana Journey” or the process of growing a banana from seedling to harvest.

The website is also linked to the company’s social networking pages in Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. “This allows us to give feedback right away and have a more personal approach to how we communicate,” says Mr. Albano.

With this launch, Dole Asia hopes to expand its reach. “There is still a huge opportunity for marketing high quality fresh produce in the region and Dole Asia Fresh provides full service from sourcing to logistics, and to selling the product,” concludes Mr. Albano.
